Meet Buddy.
I made him for my brand new baby niece...Mae.

I really liked how he looked a bit old-fashioned.

Who knew that rocks needed doilies?

Well they do.
Look how much prettier rocks are when they're all dressed up.
Margaret Ooman makes the most beautiful crochet covered sea stones.
(mine isn't nearly as pretty and delicate so you should really check her's out).
She sells them on Etsy but they go like hotcakes.
I then happened upon a pattern on the purl bee.
Margaret created the pattern exclusively for them to share with their readers.
I made this one based on that pattern.
