so long...

I bought my first car when I was 18.
A 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe.
I had to take out a loan and my dad had to co-sign.
It had no power steering and no power brakes.
No shoulder seatbelt...just a lap belt.
And it was so fun to drive.
Glen and I did a couple of road trips in it.
Up to the Okanagan mostly.
No air-conditioning.
Holy crap that was hot.
Can you even remember what it was like to have a car without air-conditioning?
And with windows you had to manually roll up and down?
And locks that you had to lean over to lock and unlock?
That was my mustang.
And now it's sold.
The new owner towed it away on Saturday.
I will miss it.
