the new boat...

Glen's dad bought a new boat.
A fancy new fishing boat.
So on the Canada Day long weekend we took it for a spin out to the cabin.
It was fantastic.
We launched in the river and took in the pretty scenery...
Floating homes, a couple of swans and their babies, etc.
When we got to the bridge you see in the photos, we just honked the horn a few times and someone came out to open it for us.
Very fun.
There are no photos of us out on the ocean as it was crazy choppy.
I couldn't manage holding on for dear life and taking photos at the same time.
But with the new boat, we didn't feel like our insides were going to explode with every hit of a wave.
It was a great trip and I'm looking forward to the next one!
